Born in 1959, Clémence van Lunen grew up and studied in Brussels and Paris. Currently lives and works in Paris. Represented by Galerie Polaris and Galerie Alice Mogabgab. Clémence was Director of the Ateliers Beaux-arts de la Ville de Paris from 2008 to 2012. She currently teaches sculpture at the École Nationale Supérieure d'Art et de Design de Nancy. Her teachers include Michel Smolders, Jean Cardot and Etienne-Martin (Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris), with whom she studied sculpture from 1979 to 1984.
