Nicolas Fédorenko, "reflets joyeux d'un sombre éclat" at Quimperlé
Solo exhibition May 17 - June 29, 2025
Open every day except Monday in May, June, September and October from 1:30pm to 6pm in July and August from 10:30am to 6:30pm Chapelle des Ursulines.
Painting, sculpture, ceramics, installation... Whatever the medium, Nicolas Fedorenko draws visitors into a colorful and often poetic universe. The works on display reflect half a century of artistic creation, influenced as much by the masters of the past as by contemporary movements.
However, far from being a retrospective, the exhibition bears witness to a body of work that is always on the move, tracing an artistic and intellectual itinerary rich in the fundamental questions that have always inspired mankind. Leaving the gaze free, Fedorenko imposes no truth, but asserts loud and clear that art is the sensitive form of knowledge.
